World of Warcraft Item Upgrade
The item upgrade was first introduced in Generation II. This special item allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2 when traded while in possession.

Rerolling an item resets the base power as well as any upgrades, and rerolls the substats on top of the substats. This is beneficial in the event that a ring's substats are not what the user wants or if a rings maximum power was less than desired. The reroll token can be found from various sources, including the skulled creatures, the mystery box or as a reward for taking down an opponent.
Weapons, armor, rings and other items can all be changed. Weapons can be rerolled for physical power, spellpower, or health. Armor can be rerolled in defense or damage reduction, and rings can be rerolled to reduce durability or damage. Rerolling an item that is crafted will create a rare-like item of the same type as the ingredient equipment item.
